2019-02 Field Training

February 16, 2019 @ 07:30 – 14:00
Big Tesuque Campground

Mock mission that will involve a SKED extraction of subjects.

Location: Big Tesuque Campground

Have the the cooler temps today and snow flurries got you excited and itching to go outside and play in the snow? Well then this is just what you need…the February Field Training on Saturday, February 16, 2019. It will have cool mountain air, snow to play in, some snowshoeing, a couple of subjects, maybe some hands on technical skills, and even getting to bear wrestle the SKEDs. Wow…that’s a lot of SFSAR pure enjoyment right there.

We will meet at the shed for a 0730 am departure to IB. If you are a townie meet at DeVargas for a 0745 departure for IB. We need to get to IB around 0815 in order to have parking before the public gets out and about.

Hopefully the weather is not holding you back from joining in the fun. Remember we get called out rain, sleet, snow, or shine to help those in need. Just think of it as an extra perk for real weather scenarios to train in.
