1-6-2018 The Santa Fe SAR Team visited the newly opened Sabinoso Wilderness. The team wanted to plot water crossings with GPS waypoints and check radio communications down in the canyon. Based on Incident Base being established at the trailhead parking lot, the team found that Simplex worked just fine down in the canyon, but trying to hit any of the area repeaters were spotty.
